We are seeking a Senior Developer. This position is a good fit for a candidate who is highly capable of leading a developer team on a client project. You will be responsible for providing strategic influence for our clients during the analysis, design and delivery of an implementation. The Lead Developer is acknowledged as an industry leader and has a strong customer focus coupled with the ability to make decisions and provide guidance in creation of software solutions. 
 
Successful candidates must have demonstrated expertise in technologies necessary to work within the Oracle Retail product suite among other platforms. These technologies may include: 

• .Net and C#, SQL Server and T-SQL
• Front end HTML/CSS/JS, JavaScript (e.g. ReactJS)
• Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Microsoft Visual Studio Team System, Microsoft Commerce Server, Microsoft SQL Server

 
You will spend your days working with clients on assigned projects to: 

• Create innovative solutions to business and technology problems
• Evaluate existing systems and procedures to influence client to adopt your recommendations
• Oversee the development of software solutions that meet client requirements

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely with the client and the consulting team to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Provide subject matter expertise in a retail solution; in particular, MS Azure, .Net and C#
• Lead client sessions from conceptual framework to detailed design
• Formulate innovative solutions that best bridge any gaps between a client’s requirements and standard system functionality
• Earn trusted advisor status through willingness to continuously learn about assigned client’s retailing practices and emerging trends in the industry
• Confirm completion of high quality deliverables for self and less experienced developers
• Actively contribute to Logic’s Knowledge Base of collective wisdom
• Effectively communicate with subordinates, peers, superiors, and clients in a way that drives deliverables forward and maintains open communication lines
• Comply with all Logic defined processes and procedures

Key Skills and Qualifications

• 6 or more years of progressive software development experience
• 3 or more years of experience as team lead on large-scale projects
• Good knowledge of .Net platform
• Excellent knowledge of C# language
• Previous experience with Microsoft server products: Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), Microsoft Visual Studio Team System, Microsoft Commerce Server, Microsoft SQL Server
• Strong understanding of web development and e-commerce
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design model
• Ability to stand alone in front of a client, even in situations where you are being called on as an authority beyond your scope of expertise 
• Can confidently lead on all stages of a project from solutioning to testing to go-live 
• Ability to work on and lead multiple projects concurrently 
• Can lead development teams and client teams in an Agile project environment
• Previous experience in retail, retail technology or ecommerce is preferred 
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, IT or a related (or equivalent) field
