Essential Job Functions
Essential duties may include but are not limited to the following:
·Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff and to guest satisfaction
·Food preparation and portioning prior to service
·Ensures that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
·Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers
·Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment
·Properly packing, plating and presenting all menu items
·Proper holding and storage of all foods
·Taking out trash/Sweeping and mopping floors
·Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
·Must follow the guidelines stated in grooming standards policy
·Communicate openly, timely and honestly with subordinates, superiors and all others about plans, progress and problems.
·To always be approachable, coachable and have a good positive attitude
Non-Essential Job Functions
·Must be at least 18 years of age
·Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
·Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include the following:
oWalking, standing or sitting for extended periods of time.
·Maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception needed for:
oMaking observations
oCommunicating with others
oReading and writing
