Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Palmdale, California is seeking a college intern interested in Technical Writer.
An experienced technical writer will:
• Effectively work with multiple engineering, flight test and customer support representatives
• Utilize Engineering technical data to develop flight manuals and maintenance instruction
• Work closely with customer representatives to exceed expectations within scope of the program
The successful candidate will be able to:
• Work in a fast-paced development environment to proactively acquire information required to perform their tasks
• Learn about Technical Publications software (i.e. Arbortext, FrameMaker), and/or in using markup language (i.e. SGML, XML, HTML)
• Gain an understanding of complex tech drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and/or specifications
Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or related discipline
