This position is for a Range Operations staff member to support the National Cyber Range Complex (NCRC) program in Patuxent River, Maryland. Range Operations staff members work on a team to complete daily operations of the NCRC EES (Event Execution System) and the IDE (Integration Development Environment), management of resources, ensure compliance with system architecture and requirements, and provide on-time delivery of all required elements of customer test events such as on time Testbed Buildout, Sanitization, and ensuring that necessary EES resources are available for upcoming test events.
Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 9 years of related engineering experience and/ or 12 years of experience with no degree.
• Familiarity with IT systems engineering principles and concepts.
• Basic understanding of operating systems (Linux and Windows), applications, and networks, with a basic level software and hardware troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of data centers, computer rooms, and operation of complex computing environments.
• Team player with experience working with team members.
• Must possess an active Security Clearance

• Demonstrated multi-tasker with a proven ability to support multiple engineering discipline requirements.
• Problem solver with demonstrated ability to coordinate with others on a diverse team and communicate effectively with various levels of an organization.
• Experience and initiative to understand complex systems.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to document solutions and present ideas and information other team members.
• Basic Networking knowledge with an emphasis on Cisco products.
• Basic understanding of NetApp SAN Management, Fiber Switch Configuration, Layer1 Switch concepts and configuration.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and systems on the job

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
