Our Agile Development Environment Team within the Mission Planning Element of the Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) program is looking for an innovative and dynamic Systems Engineer-IT! As part of the team, you will use your systems engineering-IT and systems administration skills to support the mission planning element of an advanced satellite communication ground system that's critical to our customers and our Lockheed Martin SPACE business.
You will be applying your skills to provide Systems Engineering IT solutions to our AEHF Team. You will be solving difficult problems, implementing their solution and developing new features. In addition, you will be part of a team that will be implementing the next generation of our AEHF Ground System. Strong experiences in Systems Engineering-IT, Systems Administration, specifically in Windows.
Responsibilities could include a subset of the following:
•MPSS OS/COTS support and verification:
---Updates to the platforms in response to MPE & OSSE DRs
---Creation, verification, and hand off to CM of the physical media and OS images
•Linux administration:
---Updating and securing the OS and infrastructure
---Regular STIG scanning of the VMs to ensure compliance
---Creating and baselining different VM types
---Support Linux backend of Gitlab, Fortify, Nexus, and Ansible
•Solaris administration:
---Manage Solaris user accounts in Oracle LDAP
---Regular STIG scanning of the VMs to ensure compliance
---Support Solaris backend of ClearCase, Coco, and ZFS storage appliance
•Windows administration:
---Regular STIG scanning of the VMs to ensure compliance
---Group Policy and user account management through Active Directory
---Build and deploy automated software packages with SCCM
---Data Transfer Agent (DTA)
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Basic Qualifications:
Demonstrate knowledge in software development and or systems engineering-IT/systems administration
-Tech support or helpdesk skills
-Experience in window and/or RedHat (LINUX) system administration
-Good communication skills
-Strong team player, collaboration and work in a team environment
-Current DOD Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
-Ability to obtain DOD TS Clearance
-Certifications - Security
-Strong Problem Solver
-Familiar with Dev Sec Ops principals
-Familiarity with Agile Development Process a plus
-Creative thinker and follow all ethical standards of the Lockheed Martin Corporation
