Description:Lockheed Martin's Laser and Sensor Systems team is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer for our Bothell, Washington location. We deliver laser solutions for the defense, aerospace, industrial, and scientific markets.

*Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance after start date; No Clearance required prior to start*
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority.
- Experience with digital and analog circuit card design, electrical circuit analysis, modeling and simulation
- experience with schematic interpretation, electrical circuit design, electrical cable design, equipment troubleshooting, and repair
- experience and use of standard test and measuring instrument
- Capable of jointly developing technical baselines with hardware, software, systems, and optical Integrated Product Team (IPT) disciplines
Desired Skills:
- Experience with circuit card layout in Zuken CR8000 or a similar tool
- Comfortable within a rapid development environment
- Familiarity with Military Standards, ruggedized design, and environmental test requirements
- Proficient with OrCAD, Zuken CR 8000, Zuken E3 design tools
- Integrated Process Team (IPT) and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience with successful product delivery
- Experience performing embedded system architecture development and performance calculations
- Experience with Rhapsody (SysML), DOORs, and other System Engineering tools
- Familiarity with analog design, power electronics design, RF design, or embedded software programming
- Willing to lead & travel to support customer meetings, technical tasks, or system installations, modifications, and testing
- Attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, good organizational skills, computer literacy, and a demonstrated ability to thrive in a team environment
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills and be self-motivated in performance of duties with limited supervision
