The Missile Defense and Space Surveillance (MD&SS) team is looking for a passionate individual to provide financial analysis for the Homeland Defense Radar – Guam (HDR-G) Program. This position offers an opportunity in a dynamic environment where the candidate should be comfortable with balancing competing priorities. The selected candidate will have the opportunity establish the original baseline and support the execution of the Program from contract award. The selected candidate will be required to interface across a multi-functional team, including Program Management, Contracts, Pricing, Engineering, Supply Management and Material Management teams. The selected candidate will interface across stakeholders across the Solid State Radar (SSR) contracts, including HDR- Hawaii and ASEV. Key responsibilities will include the following:
• Lead monthly earned value requirements across the HDR-G Program. Status Earned Value Management System for assigned Control Accounts.
• Provide financial guidance to Control Account Managers (CAMs) and assist in Control Account variance analysis and understand key metrics and drivers.
• Support Earned Value / Project Performance reviews
• Support the generation of monthly IPMR deliverables
• Support the Outlook, CSR, LRP Planning cycles
• Support financial reviews including Baseline Review (BR), Performance Assessment Review (PAR), Integrated Baselined Review (IBR) and internal / external audits as required.
• Other responsibilities as needed
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in EVM principals and their application to the program
• Experience with SAP, COBRA, Hyperion, and Microsoft Excel
• Team player with demonstrated communication and organizational skills, strong analytical ability, and high degree of accuracy with numerical data.
• Proactive problem solver with critical thinking skills.
Desired Skills:
• Experience and Application of PPMP Requirements
• Ability to effectively communicate across multiple functionals and external program stakeholders
• Strong organization, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Thorough knowledge of existing financial systems, including SAP, COBRA, and Hyperion.
• Knowledge of advanced concepts in MS Excel
