This is an opportunity to work closely alongside our Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) partners to field a number of future strategic systems that the nation urgently needs. Join the Storied FBM team and help shape and integrate the next generation D5 missile as the Program Office Integration Manager.
Acting in coordination with the D5LE2 Program Manager, and reporting directly to the D5LE2 Program Manager, your primary responsibilities as the Program Office Business Integration Manager will include:
• Leading the D5LE2 Program Office team
o Overall responsibility for program office staff assignments
o Overseeing assignments assigned to other Program Office Staff members
• Collaborating with the Program Manager to execute the D5LE2 business rhythm
• Working collaboratively with Finance & Business Operations and Planning leaders to assess overall program cost and schedule health
o Monitoring metrics to measure program performance for all facets of program execution, to include funding expenditures, cost, schedule, technical, risk management, opportunity exploitation, and continuous improvement as well as the Customer/Partnership Health Index for D5LE2
o Owning the maintenance of a program dashboard
• Participating in key program-level meetings to obtain insight into key driving issues and concerns, and partake in discussions regarding solutions, to include required resources, priority concerns, timely decisions needed, and to pursue key executive leadership decisions
• Facilitating key business rhythm meetings such as program reviews, Program Change Control Board, etc.
• Supporting development and maintenance of program instructions and program plans
• Supporting other program office functions: Lessons Learned, Risk and Opportunity Management, Policy/Process Management, Government Property management, What-ifs, Action Item closure
• Performing as the Control Account Manager for the D5LE2 Program Management and Integration Control Accounts
• Staffing the Program Office against future demands
o Ensuring accurate information in Staffing Tool (e.g., VEMO) for Program Management and Integration OBS staffing demands
• Supporting long range planning (cost and schedule) efforts
• Coordinating with the LE Program Office staff for Portfolio items
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree from accredited college, with degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/combined education with a minimum of 5 years prior experience in program management, project management, or planning.
• Minimum of 2 years prior experience in a formal leadership position leading a team.
• Must have been a certified CAM (or equivalent) with experience successfully managing technical, schedule and cost elements of contracts.
• Knowledge of fundamental program/project management disciplines, including proposal activities, budget planning and control, and working knowledge of OBS (Organization Breakdown Structure) / IMP (Integrated Master Plan) / IMS (Integrated Master Schedule) as program management tools.
• Experience in executing and managing business rhythm(s)/processes for program execution.
• Experience in evaluating key processes and identifying effective process improvements and corrective actions to drive cost and schedule savings or improve performance.
Desired Skills:
• Master’s degree in Business, Engineering or Operations.
• Familiarity with the Navy SSP customer .
• Knowledge of the FBM program and processes.
• Experience in creating and delivering compelling presentations, using effective PowerPoint communication.
• Excellent communicator, both with interpersonal interfaces (internally and externally) as well as in large presentation forums.
• Demonstrated ability to establish close working relationships with key senior leaders and customer executives.
• Demonstrated knowledge of subcontract management disciple and processes.
• Demonstrated ability to build, maintain, and coach a team, which includes the execution and evolution of a business rhythm that effectively communicates and achieves program objectives and priorities.
• Demonstrated effective problem and conflict resolution skills including experience with root cause, corrective action and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing and production processes and procedures.
• Experience of the System Engineering / Engineering processes and disciplines required for a large, complex development program.
• Direct knowledge of model based model based engineering approaches and implementation.
• Proven experience in the application of risk and opportunity management processes and procedures.
• Direct knowledge of planning and requirements to conduct of technical reviews such as requirements reviews, design reviews and peer reviews; systems architecture development and modeling.
• Program/project related experience across multiple programs, lines of business, and disciplines
• Experience prioritizing and deploying resources to meet competing program demands.
• Program or Project Management Professional certified.
• Current DoD Secret clearance, with ability to obtain DoD Top Secret Clearance.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $123,500 - $236,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
