Description:The selected candidate will be responsible for guiding the F-22 Stores Management System (SMS) Team and the Algorithms team that supports F-35 and F-16.
Responsibilities will include:
- Workforce planning, development, and retention
- Personnel performance, compensation and promotion planning
- Oversight of cost, technical, schedule across contracts
- Input and oversight for new contract proposals
- Understanding team performance and motivating quality improvement across contracted efforts
- Interfacing with external teams to meet commitments
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other STEM related discipline.
• Software development experience.
• Understanding of Agile software methodology.
• Experience with cost and schedule drivers in support of their engineers on a program in order to find and drive solutions.
• Experience leading a team of engineers.
Must be a US citizen. This position requires special access and a Secret clearance updated within the last 6 years to be considered.
Desired Skills:
Experience with software development tools and languages including C, C , Ada, ParaSoft, GIT, Bitbucket, Jira, etc.
Experience managing Agile teams for software design, code and test.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with an investigation within 6 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
