You will be working with a diverse team in fielding a highly mobile defense system providing the critical capability to shoot a missile with a missile enabling the U.S. military to effectively and reliably defend the U.S. and allied assets around the world. Join our THAAD Electronics Engineering team, where you will provide solutions to a variety of technical problems by applying extensive technical expertise to develop solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. In this important role you will collaborate with a diverse team of technical professionals and interact with senior external personnel on significant technical matters. We are looking for you to be flexible, motivated, dedicated, detail-focused, team-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking. In this role, your duties include:
• Knowledge of the definition, interpretation, and implementation of design requirements, the assignment, coordination and execution of hardware designs, development and integration of hardware custom and procured electronic assemblies in accordance with all Lockheed Martin Space engineering process specifications.
• Resolve test anomalies and troubleshooting, and generation, review and presentation of Product Certification, and also support system level testing.
• Manage risk and identify mitigation plans to meet productivity, quality, cost, schedule, and mission success objectives. IN THIS ROLE:

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. • Experience with design of digital and analog circuits. • Experience working with Subcontractors, sub-tier suppliers and exposure to DoD customers. • Project Leadership experience throughout the engineering life cycle. • Experience with production, manufacturing, and installation support. • You must have an Interim Secret or higher clearance to be considered for this position. Thus US Citizenship is required.
Desired Skills:
• Experience defining end-to-end performance, functionality and specifications of interfaces.
• Familiarity with processes on failure investigation (root cause analysis, Failure Review Boards, etc.).
• Experience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.
• Experience in different phases of electronic component development cycle.
• Experience with tactical communication and networking.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
