Description:Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.
Experience with electronics design and troubleshooting.
Desired Skills:
Understanding of fundamentals of analog and digital circuit design, familiarity with microprocessor-based embedded systems.
Familiarity with Circuit Card Assembly design cycle from schematics capture to layout recommendations and board-level testing and troubleshooting.
Experience with new product development process including design for reliability, maintainability, serviceability and safety.
Knowledge of Cadence Orcad Capture/PCB Editor, Altium Designer, or similar CAD software.
Experience programming Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) or Complex Programmable Logic Devices (CPLD).
Extensive use of digital oscilloscopes, power meters, and other test equipment; basic soldering and wiring skills.
Strong ability to write test procedures and reports; ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Ability and desire to work both independently and as a part of cross-functional team of electrical engineers, software and control engineers, and mechanical engineers.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
