Lockheed Martin is Hiring a Calibration Technician Near Oldsmar, FL

Description:Calibrates test and measuring equipment to conform to set standards. Tests, calibrates, adjusts, and maintains electro-mechanical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, hydro mechanical, and pressure-type measuring and indicating instruments. Sets up calibration sequences, methods and procedures according to detailed specifications, blueprints, drawings, and requirements. Disassembles, cleans, repairs, and replaces defective parts of test equipment. Verifies quality in accordance with statistical processes or other control procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years experience with hands-on calibration of test equipment in a laboratory environment.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must possess excellent customer service/relations skills.
- Competency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in RF, Mechanical and Electrical calibrations.
- Ability to function in a successful team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen
Desired Skills:
Experience using Fluke MET/CAL and IndySoft.
- Experience working within an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory.
- Experience generating and working with uncertainty budgets.
