Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems has an opportunity in Syracuse for an RF Engineer.
- Responsible for supporting senior engineers in performing electrical engineering research, design, development, modification, and evaluation in support of complex radar systems and their electronic components.
- Will support design, development and test of receiver and exciter subsystems used in ground based, airborne and shipboard radar and electronic warfare applications with a specific focus on RF and Mixed Signal Circuits.
- The individual will conduct trade studies, perform dynamic analyses, interface with vendors, test RF and Mixed Signal circuitry and interact with engineers of other disciplines (Mechanical, Systems, etc.).
Basic Qualifications:
- Application of Electromagnetics; RF theory.
- Proficient in RF modeling and simulation.
- Understanding of EMI/EMC Effects, proficiency with RF measurement techniques and equipment.
-Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance prior to start.
Desired Skills:
-Ability to generate a cascade analysis.
-Ability to generate a link budget.
-Understanding and experience with Electro-magnetic 3-d modeling tools, such as HFSS, and CST Microwave Studio.
-Design RF circuits using ADS, Genesys or equivalent tools.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with MS Office tools.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
