Lochmueller Group is Hiring an Administrative Assistant - Part Time Near Fountaintown, IN

Lochmueller Group is a regional engineering consulting firm with an emphasis on infrastructure. We provide multi-disciplined services for a variety of public agencies and private entities, including transportation design; water resource design; environmental analysis & permitting; construction engineering & inspection; traffic engineering & transportation planning; and land acquisition & appraisal.

We are looking for an experienced administrative professional to come onboard and support our Regional Administrator in a part time capacity at our Indianapolis, IN office.

The ideal candidate will have at least a High School Diploma/GED and two or more years of related work experience is preferred. The candidate should be comfortable coordinating and managing a variety of tasks while also having the ability to prioritize activities based on day-to-day office and manager needs.

In this position, the candidate will:

  • Answer multi-line phone system and route calls as appropriate and greet visitors.
  • Process daily mail and assist in small/large mailings.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and UPS shipments as needed.
  • Assist with catering for meetings.
  • Schedule and track Lochmueller Group vehicle utilization.
  • Assist with scheduling conference rooms and hotel accommodations as needed.
  • Keeps copiers supplied with paper etc.
  • Copying and scanning documents as needed.
  • Routinely examine office supply stock for ordering as well as receiving order and restocking.
  • Responsible for handling petty cash and monthly petty cash reports in Excel.
  • Other duties as needed or assigned.

In addition, proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is needed. Strong communication skills both written and verbal, along with the ability to work well individually or as part of a team is essential.
