Local Locker is Hiring a Remote Customer Experience Associate - Part Time
At Local Locker we convert underutilized real estate to small storage facilities in the middle of residential blocks. This way we can offer New Yorkers small storage options close to home. We have 30 locations spread across Manhattan and Brooklyn at this point and most of our customers come from a 5 block radius around each location. They visit their unit often and use it as an extension of their home.
Are you extremely detail oriented? Do you love chatting with people and helping them out? This might be the perfect role for you. We’re looking for a part-time customer experience associate to join our team. The primary responsibility is to provide excellent customer service via phone calls, emails, texts and chats with our current and prospective customers.
Please note, the schedule for this role is 2.5 days/week and requires working 1 full weekend day (either saturday or sunday).
Requirements:
- B.A. from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
- Extremely detail oriented - This role requires recording lots of information into different spreadsheets and systems so an obsession with details is imperative.
- Customer-centric. You will be the face of our company and need to have excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Multi-tasker - Your workflow will sometimes be interrupted by incoming calls and texts, being able to multi-task and get it done is important.
- Appetite to learn - You should be interested in mastering the current systems and processes we have in place as well as learning and crafting better ones in the future. We’re a startup so things change often.
- Willingness to work 9am-7pm
- Familiarity with Hubspot and Google Sheets is a plus!
Job Details:
- Answer phone calls, texts, emails and chats from current and prospective customers
- Manage databases of information about customers and facilities
- Follow up with customers and prospects about unit availability, payment issues, etc
- Coordinate maintenance requests - if you hear about facility issues, you’ll coordinate directly with our maintenance team
