Cutting-edge technology, impressive results, and a company poised for enormous growth.As a Digital Operations Specialist, you are responsible for the fulfilment of content and production orders for Locafy’s core products including Web Content Optimisation, Social and GMB Posting, GMB listing management and Directory Listing management for internal and external clients. Responsibilities

  • Collecting, curating and creating customer content for use on websites, GMB listings and posts, Facebook pages and posts, and Business listings
  • Managing and responding to reviews on behalf of Locafy’s customers
  • Conduct SEO audits (on-page and off-page) and provide recommendations for improvement in key areas such as keyword optimization on meta tags and images, content quality, and link building
  • Implement local and international SEO techniques across local (Google My Business listings) and international websites
  • Maintenance of Google My Business listings including verification process and proactively ensuring listings are kept up-to-date
  • Researching and applying new Google My Business features and optimisation techniques
  • Researching and applying keyword trends into website, Google, Facebook and listing content.
  • Auditing and Integrating SEO content into websites, GMB and Directory listings.
  • Collecting, curating and optimising images for websites and social posting.
  • Testing website functionality and suitability across devices i.e. desktop, mobile, tablet.
  • Integrating 3rd party website addons (reviews, messaging, chat) where necessary.
  • Ensuring website design and functionality meets client needs.
  • Ensuring websites are simple for clients to self-update content.
  • Working with clients to incorporate brand elements and relevant information into the website.
  • Providing internal support and external customer service throughout website builds and launch.
  • Researching new website design patterns and principles.
  • Collaborate with other staff members on projects, tasks or any other duty.
  • Manage project scope, tasks, milestones and deadlines using relevant tools.
  • Assist with general business operations as required.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3 years experience specifically in local SEO
  • Demonstrated expertise in Google My Business Optimisation, Facebook Business and/or Reputation Management
  • Basic HTML skills are considered an advantage
  • Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
  • Hands-on experience with SEO industry programs, such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Relevant Industry Certifications: Digital Marketing Certifications, Google Partners Program etc.
  • Superior communication skills; Phone/Video conferencing, and email etiquette.
  • Organized and attentive to detail.
  • Ability to read between the lines - know how to answer the questions not being asked and identify opportunities.
  • Action-oriented with strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Track record of being curious, learning and growing in a dynamic team environment.

Base Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year
