LMG Technology Services is Hiring an Event and Marketing Specialist Near Sugar, TX

SUMMARY:

Fort Bend ISD is hiring for an “Event and Marketing Specialist”.

Work collaboratively with the District staff, and District Board Members, to plan, implement, market, and evaluate successful District events, donor engagement, and donor recognition initiatives.

DUTIES:

  • Assist in coordinating marketing campaigns for District fundraising projects and programs using all social media platforms. Tracking campaign analytics and performance data to support the success of the project program.
  • Attend and assist in organizing and planning the District Special Events.
  • Update website with current event information and data.
  • Update social media sites with District information.
  • Responsible for the overall accuracy/integrity of donor records.
  • Plans, coordinates, and facilitates District programs, and fundraising activities and events. Programs and events may include, but are not limited to the scholarships program, and grant program.
  • Provides financial stewardship and reporting to donors; ensures appropriate expenditure of donor funds.
  • Assist in the organizing and coordinating the activities of volunteers and committees/boards engaged in fundraising activities, as appropriate.
  • Participate in and work collaboratively with campus leaders, Board of Directors, and other advisory groups as appropriate.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student, staff, and donor information.

Budget/Accounting:

  • Prepare weekly deposits for entry into the accounting database.
  • Respond to donor inquires with accurate and timely information: secures donor gifts and provides donors with relevant materials.
  • Oversee that timely donation acknowledgment and reminder notifications are processed.
  • File office copies of checks, deposits, invoices, etc.
  • Keep records up to date.
  • Manage all aspects of accounting records for all funds used in the department.

Clerical Support:

  • Arrange a location and set up the room with appropriate supplies.
  • Order refreshments.
  • Send out meeting notices and make reminder calls.
  • Assemble handouts.
  • Transcribe minutes for all Board of Director and Executive Committee meetings.
  • Assist in ordering promotional items for Special Events.

All clerical duties as requested:

  • Answer phone calls and take accurate messages. 
  • Perform mail merges of letters, envelopes, and labels as requested.
  • Maintain District files.
  • Order and maintain office supplies.

Communication and Phones: 

  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and conferences 
  • Receive incoming calls, answer questions, and direct calls to the proper party. 
  • Prepare correspondence using a personal computer.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Exceptional planning, organizational, time management, and project management skills.
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that reach diverse audiences.
  • Experience in developing, implementing, managing, and measuring effective marketing plans and strategies to reach varied and diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing and market research methods, data analytics, and tools.
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient with a variety of technologies, including Microsoft and Google suites, Adobe and virtual platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.), fundraising platforms, QuickBooks, and other donor tracking platforms
  • Strong budget management skills.
  • Creative and resourceful with effective research and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective at networking and negotiation.
  • Self-starter with willingness to learn, acquire and apply new skills.
  • Bilingual/Multi-Lingual a plus, but not required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in special events, donor engagement, and project management.
  • Prior experience in non-profit sectors is a plus.
  • Strong ability to manage a database.
  • Bookkeeping knowledge
  • Experience in social media marketing.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree preferred
