Rowe UU Camp & Conference Center is Hiring a Kitchen Assistant (Seasonal) Near Rowe, MA
Part-time 25-30 hours
Starting Pay: $15/hour
Join the Rowe Center with this fun and fast paced food service position.
The Kitchen Assistant will support our Head Chef and Kitchen Lead in preparing and serving scratch made meals and baked goods for large groups, as well as cleaning and maintaining the kitchen. The right person for this position has a genuine interest in preparing quality food and the ability to fully understand and apply all health code standards. This position requires teamwork and the ability to think on your feet and follow directions. Physical stamina, positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure are also critical to success.
On-campus housing option may be available for those applying.
Required:
Applicants must be able to work weekends and evenings when there is scheduled programming.
Ability to prepare and serve meals for 20-50 people as part of a team, primarily buffet and/or family style.
Previous kitchen experience is preferred.
