Job Summary

Livestock Nutrition Center is seeking to hire an experienced Fleet Maintenance Technician at our Cameron, TX Feed Mill location. The Fleet Maintenance Technician is responsible for ongoing and preventative fleet maintenance. The Technician will work as a full-time mechanic and report directly to the Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience with diesel engines and components and must have a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred) to be able to make service calls. 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Mechanical repair of fleet of 12-15 trucks and trailers
  • Servicing and repairing wheel loaders and other rolling stock
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Develop maintenance schedules and procedures for ongoing maintenance
  • Perform troubleshooting to solve repair issues
  • Communicate and identify needs and plans for improvement
  • Maintain part and tool inventory
  • Ensure compliance of safety policies

Qualifications and Skills

  • Diesel certificate preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years related experience and/or training.
  • Mechanical Repair and Preventative Maintenance Skills
  • Valid Driver’s License-CDL preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Works well in Team environment
  • Safety minded.
