Live Oak Adult Day Services provides a quality day program to enhance the lives of seniors with mild to moderate dementia and to provide respite for their caregivers. The Program Specialist works with the Program Director to plan and provide daily activities designed to meet the needs and interests of the clients. Mostly, we try to create a joyful, small community setting! The hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 3:30pm. Responsibilities include assuring a safe environment, monitoring any changes in clients, leading exercise, meals, and cognitive stimulation activities, and helping to create a joyful atmosphere. Applicants must obtain clearance from the Dept of Justice via fingerprints, have a negative TB test, provide documentation of Covid-19 vaccination, and maintain First Aid/CPR certification.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Since we work with a vulnerable population (seniors), we currently require all staff to be fully vaccinated and to wear masks when working close to clients. Staff is required to sanitize the facility at the beginning and end of each work day.

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
