Live Nation Worldwide, Inc. is Hiring a Senior Systems Administrator Near Texas, TX

Job Summary: The JOB The Senior Systems Administrator’s primary responsibility will be to integrate companies into the Live Nation corporate email system as part of Live Nation’s ongoing Merger and Acquisition (M&A) activities. This role will represent the IT Operations group in weekly project meetings and answer questions for key stakeholders of companies we are integrating. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter that can work independently to manage project deliverables, complete tasks before due dates, and clearly communicate expectations to stakeholders in Live Nation and the acquired companies. The Senior Systems Administrator isn’t just a project lead but also a senior email administrator and Office 365 architect. They need to be able to perform discovery on source side email servers, set up required email system configurations, architecture, and routing. They will migrate users, mailboxes, distribution lists, and data to Live Nation’s email system ensuring a smooth transition for the employees being migrated. When not working on M&A projects, the Senior Systems administrator will assist the team with email/Office 365 related projects and work tickets assigned to the team’s support queue. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO Perform email migrations of newly acquired and joint venture companies into Live Nation’s corporate email system Perform discovery and document source side email system configurations for companies being integrated Create user mailboxes, shared mailboxes, distribution lists calendars and related permissions in preparation for email migrations Duplicate allow lists, block lists and other security configurations in Office 365 and at the email gateway in preparation for email migrations Set up and utilize BitTitan, Quest Migration Manager or similar tools to migrate email data from the source email system to Live Nation’s email system Implement email routing and DNS changes in Office 365 and at the email gateway to cut over email domains during email migrations Implement email routing changes in Office 365 and at the email gateway at the time of email system cutover Represent the IT Operations group as email system subject matter expert (SME) in M&A meetings Assist with post cutover email client support for newly integrated employee Work top tier email support tickets assigned to the IT Operations support queue Assist the IT Operations team with project deliverables related to Office 365/Exchange Online Stay current with industry best practices/trends and make recommendations to management TECHNICAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES Senior level experience performing email migrations Architect level expertise of Office 365, Exchange Online, Hybrid Exchange, Azure AD and AD Connect. Senior level experience scripting with PowerShell Expert in email standards Administration experience with Active Directory, OKTA and other authentication methods Experience automating email client configuration changes in bulk as part of email migrations Expert in DNS records such as MX, A, PTR, TXT, SPF, DMARC and DKIM Senior level experience with email routing Senior level administration experience with secure email gateway technologies for anti-spam, anti-malware, and anti-phish Strong communication skills a must Strong organization skills a must Experience with top tier email support Successful track record of working independently and delivering projects on time About Us Recognized three years in a row by Great Place to Work® and named one of People Magazine’s top 50 Companies that Care, Live Nation Entertainment is the global leader in live entertainment and ticketing.
