Autumn House West is looking for a hardworking, passionate Cook to add to our wonderful team! We are an in-house operated food service program with established menus and recipes and the flexibility to let staff shine through process and recipe improvement. Autumn House West prides itself in the care and enrichment that we provide to our residents.

The cook shift is from 11am-7pm. Cooks are the leads in the kitchen in the absence of the Chef. They are responsible for all staff completing their job in a timely fashion and correct, the closing cleanliness of the kitchen as well as meeting state and local regulations.

Employees are required to work every other weekend and every other holiday. This position will be part-time with the potential of moving to full-time for the right candidate.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Knowledge in cooking is a must as we look to elevate the expectations of food service.
• Compassion for elderly and a desire to improve their quality of life is the focus of this food service operation.
• The ability to lead others in appositive way
• To stand on your feet for 8 to 10 hours,
• An eye for detail

Qualifications and Skills

• Prior Cook experience is required
• Experience working in senior living facility preferred
• Experience in a fast paced environment is a plus
