The Internal Audit Senior will report to the Americas Audit Manager and will lead our audit staff to execute operational risk-based audits along with executing Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) control testing. Our audit team works as a globally integrated department; therefore, this position will interact with our global business partners. In addition to audit responsibilities, this position will provide transformative leadership and partner with business personnel within the Americas and European regions to continually improve risk management activities. About the Job: Assists the Audit Manager with leading organization-wide financial, operational, and strategic risk-based audits. Creates audit workprograms and oversees a team of staff auditors to execute fieldwork, including assessing processes and identify control weaknesses. Presents audit findings to Executive Leadership and supports the business with developing correcting action plans. Drafts audit reports to be reviewed by the Audit Manager and Director of Internal Audit. Leads projects associated with SOX including the review of staff auditor workpapers and the execution of complex control testing. Leverages data analytic tools and results to evaluate business processes and identify control weaknesses. Works effectively as part of a motivated, diverse and high-energy team. Occasional domestic and international travel may be required to meet the needs of the business (estimated 10 - 20%). Other duties as assigned. About You: Bachelor’s degree with focus on Accounting or Finance. 3-5 years of experience preferably with a “Big 4” or mid-level accounting firm, and/or a multi-national company. Obtained or working towards a relevant professional certification (e.g. CIA, CPA, CISA, etc.) Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Works well independently and as part of a multi-national team. Drive and ambition to learn the business, build relationships and become a leader. Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP is preferred Knowledge of Spanish or other languages is highly desirable.
