Overview: Listerhill Credit Union is a financial cooperative whose primary purpose is to help our members live financially healthy lives. In 1952, seven Reynolds Metals employees deposited $5 each with the idea of starting a credit union that was member-owned and member-focused. Helping co-workers break from predatory lenders to borrow affordably and save for their financial futures, was their motivation. We have grown from a single office at Reynolds Metals to 18 branches throughout northwest Alabama and south-central Tennessee. Today, we serve 13 counties with a full line of financial solutions. As Process Improvement Specialist for Listerhill Credit Union, you will be a key partner with Management in our continuous search for documenting and improving all processes that impact our mission of “improving lives in our community.” 

You will report to the VP of Process Improvement and assume a direct role and lead in our day-to-day effort for continued excellence through mapping our internal processes and working towards constant improvement. 

What you will do:

• Develop and manage business capabilities related to our internal business processes
• Utilize process mapping and other tools to examine organizational workflows through the lens of APQC enterprise map
• Build relationships throughout LCU to ensure concerns are identified and resolved in a timely manner
• Manage and assist in implementing improvement projects
• Document and provide feedback to management on metrics associated with operations
• Train process stakeholders in process methodology
• Assist in creation of standard operating procedures and educational materials
• Conduct project discovery process for improvements
• Manage and report on multiple process improvement portfolios.
• Support and involve the Senior Leadership Team on Process Management
• Perform other duties as assigned 

Requirements

Qualifications:

• One to three years of similar or related experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in the field of Business or Engineering
• Prior experience in Process or Project Management preferred
• Superior communication and analytical skills, with proficiency in spreadsheets, data analysis tools, and flow-charting tool
• Prior experience and knowledge of process management principles, methodologies and tools is preferred
• Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
• Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
• Problem solving and root cause identification skills
• Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle preferred
• Must successfully complete appropriate LCU assessments
