The Sales Engineer acts as an essential platform and strategy expert to the Revenue organization in both internal and external meetings. The Sales Engineer is responsible for creating and presenting tailored product demonstrations and complex sample analyses to prospects.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with the ListenFirst Revenue team (Sales, Expansion and Marketing) in high-value, high-ARR-potential prospect conversations as the ListenFirst Insights expert, communicating the value of our strategy and analyses
  • Train and assist the Revenue team in understanding and creating intelligent ways to utilize LF data and strategic guidance to provide the best proposals to our prospects.
  • Join and lead high-value prospect conversations to learn key priorities / initiatives and help create relevant analyses to present to prospect to drive the deal closing
  • Own all strategic prospect deliverables, from ad hoc campaign analysis to industry analyses and more, providing strategic digital marketing insights and recommendations 
  • Create and introduce new ways to present and share insights within new verticals for ListenFirst
  • Bring an entrepreneurial, can-do attitude in developing this new role on the ListenFirst Revenue team

What You'll Bring

  • 4 years experience in Client Strategy / Account Management
  • Self-motivated, team player with a strong track record with clients and prospects
  • Desire and passion for Business Development and Social Media Analytics: an entrepreneurial and strategic thinker that can evangelize products and insights in the marketplace
  • Sophisticated understanding of marketing channels, especially digitally oriented ones including, but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, IG, TikTok, Google Analytics, Omniture, Ad-Servers (ie DART), Pinterest, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; whether in customer conversations, presentations, or written proposals, you always strike the right tone and communicate clearly and persuasively
  • Passionate and relentless about growth; you’re not deterred by setbacks and enjoy the process of building high-value relationships over time
  • An independent self-starter: you thrive in fast-paced environments and feel comfortable with a very high level of responsibility

What’s In It For You

  • The base pay range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000, with actual pay commensurate with experience
