Liquid Web is looking for an experienced General Ledger Accountant to join our team. This role applies technical, financial, and accounting knowledge to month-end and year-end reconciliations, journal postings and reporting as well as performs internal auditing, policy and procedures development, and special projects.

This is a permanent, full-time, hybrid role with a pay range of $75K - $90K annually.

Responsibilities: 

• Month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing
• Quarterly balance sheet and P&L Fluctuation Analysis
• Monthly expense variance analysis
• Consolidation, inter-company transactions and reconciliations including foreign currency accounting
• Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and compliance to internal policies
• Manage Fixed Assets
• Balance sheet accounts reconciliations
• Property, sales and use tax and franchise tax returns
• Accounting system implementation team member
• Interface with management in various departments, including engineering, sales operations, IT and legal

Skills, Competencies, and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting
• Strong technical accounting background
• 2 years general ledger accounting experience
• Strong Excel and database skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Team player but the ability to work independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout Company organization

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree
• CPA
