An ideal candidate is capable of providing technical and administrative support to project teams regarding software, programs, materials, processes, and procedures. As the Interior Designer II, you will…

• Provide primary BIM/CAD support to project teams with the ability to interpret and produce BIM/CAD drawings from sketches, verbal instructions, or notes from project leads.
• Assist with concept design of plans, sections, elevations, and basic detailing including selection of finishes and materials.
• Demonstrate an understanding of plans, sections, elevations, programming, block planning, furniture layouts and schedules.
• Conduct and apply product research related to outline specifications.
• Be familiar with terms inherent in building design, codes and construction.
• Assist with construction administration tasks including RFIs, submittals and punch walks.
• Work with the consultants and assist in the coordination of their work at the direction of the project leads.
• Develop furniture specifications.
• Participate in all phases of the design and project documentation process.
• Understand and exhibit time management skills and complete tasks accurately and on schedule. Be responsible for following workplans.
• Develop presentation materials to support projects or marketing efforts.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills, be detail-oriented and collaborative.
• Be able to communicate with project team and clients.
• Be proficient in use of 3D program drawing skills.
• Adhere to The Lionakis Way standards of design, quality control, and production.
• Be responsible for understanding scope, reviewing workloads and contributes to the development of aspects of scope.
• Be responsible for checking own work in preparation for formal QA/QC and incorporating QA/QC knowledge into future projects.

Interior Designer II Qualifications – The Must-Haves (Required)

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or equivalent and a minimum of 2-4 years interior architectural project experience or Associates degree and 3 years related experience.
• Proficient with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Proficient with BIM/Revit
• Proficient with Photoshop 

Interior Designer II Qualifications – The Like-to-Haves (Not Required)

• Basic skills in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Google SketchUp
• Prior experience with Commercial projects
• LEED accreditation
