Job Summary
- Responsible for month-end closing journals
- Audit and review OPERA reports
- Building Financial Models
- Manage the company’s financial accounts, payrolls, budget, cash receipts and financial assets
- Handle the company’s transactions and debts and do cash flow forecasting
- Perform the company’s financial audits and analysis
- Follow proper accounting procedures to reach financial objectives
- Monitor and analyze financial accounting data
- Create financial reports based on data analysis
- Responsible for cash flow management
- Make recommendations to business stakeholders
- Work closely with purchasing to ensure all cost are properly accounted for in the proper period
- Persuasively champion accounting policies and procedures by partnering with department heads and influencing consistency
- Assist with the preparation of various ad-hoc analysis as needed by the business
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a fast paced and professional environment
- Previous experience working in accounts payable or accounting within a hotel preferred
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable systems, QuickBooks, and MS Excel (OPERA would be nice but not a must)
- Team focused with an understanding of the bigger picture and how you can contribute
- Able to effectively manage different stakeholders and be persuasive
