IT Technician

This is an entry level position working with the internal end users troubleshooting, pc support, and basic networking. The role of an IT Technician is to support all manufacturing facilities in the daily operations of the local network and IT hardware connected to it. This position shall serve as the provider of user support and information of business technology hardware, systems, and the related issues. IT technician will provide IT services to all company locations – Magnolia, Tomball and Houston, TX of Lincoln Manufacturing Inc.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Install Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals for new and existing personnel
• Image personal computers and configure the machine for use by other Company employees
• implement protocols for the use of IT devices across departments and projects
• Support or train personnel responsible for systems and networks and provide advice on IT choices
• Assist with the facilitate the interaction between end users and higher-level support
• Organize troubleshooting٫ repairs and data collection as needed for day-to-day manufacturing operations.
• Work together with 3rd party professionals to maintain standards and functionality

IT Technician requirements are:

• 2 years of experience as a technician or similar role (previous Helpdesk experience is a plus).
• Understanding and experience in network and help desk support
• Practical experience working with information systems, applications٫ and devices to troubleshoot and repair issues
• Experience in TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configuration
• Strong communication, both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with end users

• Strong organizational and coordination abilities with close attention to detail

• Demonstrate flexibility regarding occasional on-call technical support after hours and on weekends.
• Industry certifications and/or Associate degree a plus
