Role Overview: 

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (LCPA) serves three primary roles: it is the world’s leading presenter of superb artistic programming, is a national leader in arts education and community relations, and functions as the manager of the Lincoln Center campus, which is home to 11 separate resident organizations. LCPA presents over 350 performances annually throughout our different performance series including American Songbook, Great Performers, Live From Lincoln Center, Mostly Mozart Festival, Midsummer Night Swing, Lincoln Center Out of Doors, and White Light Festival. 

In addition, LCPA supports an array of programs for Lincoln Center Education including its community and family programming. Further, LCPA supports initiatives related to events at the David Rubenstein Atrium, LC Kids, as well as numerous key institutional initiatives and projects. 

The Information Technology team provides essential technology support to staff members across LCPA. Reporting to the Senior Director, Technology Operations, the Network Administrator is responsible for day-to-day network and server operations and as an escalation path for IT help desk issues that are network related.

What you’ll get to do here:

  • Manage and support day-to-day systems updates and maintenance across the infrastructure network and server systems along with the team, including critical patching
  • Maintain and support the LCPA campus wireless network
  • Work with our partner vendors during maintenance, support, or project-related tasks.
  • Help manage the configuration and status of our monitoring systems
  • Help enforce cyber security policies
  • Monitoring on-prem and cloud server status
  • Keep our MDF and IDF environments clean and compliant
  • Maintain documentation including diagrams for servers and network hardware

You’ll be a fit if you bring:

  • 10 plus years managing a large Cisco enterprise environment
  • 5 plus years working as a certified CCNP
  • Experience with Palo Alto firewall, ideally with training and/or certification in PAN-OS
  • Familiarity with Palo Alto XDR 
  • Experience with Aruba wireless 
  • Experience using and configuring monitoring systems such as PRTG
  • Familiar with routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF
  • Experience with Cloud-based backup environments required
  • Experience with latest VMware ESXi Server in a fiber-channel environment
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office365 backend administration
  • Knowledge with Azure-Active Directory, PowerShell, and cloud API integration
  • Excellent project and time management skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong customer service orientation
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work well under pressure with strong problem-solving abilities
  • BS in Computer Science or related field of study or equivalent combination of education, in-service training, and experience
