Description
If you are looking for an exciting career opportunity in the IT, engineering, software development, logistics, and project management fields, we are currently hiring for dynamic and experienced Engineering Tech.
- Working as part of a team performing or supporting the installation, testing, verification, repair, diagnostic analysis, and calibration of various systems.
- Assemble, install or construct simple or standard equipment or parts.
- Service or repair simple instruments or equipment.
- Conduct a variety of tests using established methods, adjust and operate equipment, and record test data, pointing out deviations resulting from equipment malfunction and observational errors.
- Also required to assist in the testing of new systems and in testing returned parts for existing systems.
- Able to follow assembly drawings and instructions including Cable Running Sheets and to produce products that show an excellent level of workmanship.
- Assist in conducting training with customers and junior technicians.
- Assist in coordination with various vendors to arrange for parts, supplies, and services, and prepare purchase requisitions for signature.
- Assist in planning system installations, including materials, parts, and equipment necessary for installation.
- Possess written and verbal communications skills required to assist in drafting trip reports, training plans, training course material, and prepare draft documents such as installation plans, input to technical manuals, and service bulletins.
Requirements
Experience Requirements:
- Able to lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds.
- Three (3) years of experience, including performing fabrication and assembly or repair of electromechanical and electronic assemblies per fabrication/assembly drawings.
- Experience shall include soldering with low-wattage (under 30 watts) soldering devices, assembling cable harnesses, and making high-density electrical cable connectors, coaxial connectors, and waveguide connectors.
- Secret Clearance

- High School diploma or GED
