We are currently accepting applications for a Customer Relations Representative based in our Windsor, CT office. This is an excellent entry level role into LIMRA and is a hybrid job!
This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service for LIMRA and LOMA members and customers. The Customer Relations Representative provides first level customer support, handling member/customer engagement across different platforms, including high volume outbound/inbound telephone, email and live chat to resolve technical issues, provide information on products and services, promote product and services and execute various business transactions and will be responsible for identifying opportunities for up-sell for products and services.
Essential Functions:
  • Manage high volume of calls and emails/cases responding to customer inquiries/requests
  • Place outbound calls to support sales initiatives and campaigns
  • Results driven mindset 
  • Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide answers and solutions
  • Provide customers with product and service information to support solutions
  • Connect customer calls to appropriate staff as appropriate
  • Follow-up on customer inquiries 
  • Keep records of all conversations in the CRM system in a comprehensible way
  • Recognize, document and alert the supervisor of trends in customer calls
  • Provide support and other duties as assigned (event registration, LIMRA online requests, subscriptions)
  • PC skills; knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work both at home and on-site on a set schedule
  • This is a sedentary position must be comfortable sitting for long periods of time
Preferred Skills:
 
  • 2 years prior Customer Service experience
  • Knowledge of CRM systems
  • Ability to up-sell products and services as they arise
  • Ability to place outbound calls to support sales initiatives and campaigns
  • Ability to provide customers with product and service information to support solutions
  • Aptitude to learn and assimilate new information quickly
  • Ability to learn and navigate new software quickly
  • Ability to ask open-ended questions and make linkages across product and service offerings
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Excellent listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections
  • Strong work ethic and self-starter, able to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced environment
  • A professional and friendly attitude and be able to quickly develop a rapport with customers over the phone.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong influencing and closing skills
  • Fluent Spanish speaking and writing a plus
