JOB TITLE: Medical Biller

EMPLOYER: Limitless Male Medical

SUMMARY: Looking for a Medical Biller to join the Limitless Male team at the Omaha corporate office. This position is responsible for handling and transferring patient information, submission of claims to insurance companies, and also ensures that the payments for medical services are received in a timely manner. Also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of patient information and following up with the insurance providers for delays or nonpayment. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in billing software, medical insurance regulations, and an expert at responding to patient and insurance inquiries.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Completes payment entry in a timely and accurate manner
  • Properly communicates and documents payment denials in the practice management system and to the appropriate billing representative
  • Merge accounts and transfer balances if posting was executed in error. Posts appropriate denial reasons codes to line items.
  • Balances payments against computer entries and deposits
  • Complete medical billing adjustments and credits as needed
  • Interprets remittance advices from a wide variety of payer types and post accordingly to payer fee schedules
  • Performs assigned tasks with established operational goals ensuring patient and client satisfaction
  • Successfully completes other duties as assigned
  • Responsible for ensuring the maintenance, security, and confidentiality of all patient information, records, and data.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of medical billing experience required.
  • Provider Credentialing experience preferred
  • Candidates must be able to work with high volume of work while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer skills required to operate practice management system
  • Strong customer service background
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks on a daily basis
  • College Education/Vocational Training in Medical Billing is preferred
  • Detail oriented
  • Works well in a fast paced always changing environment
  • Able to multi-task between all clinic billing requirements
