About the role:

Limeade is searching for a Systems Administrator that has a strong understanding of Workstation administration. The Systems Administrator's main responsibilities are to manage and maintain both On-Prem and Cloud infrastructures including Microsoft Office 365. This role is acts as a tier 3 escalation for the Help Desk. This is a full-time remote position.

This role can be fully remote. 

Responsibilities:  

· Create and update departmental procedures/technical documentation.

· Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issues

· Troubleshoot problems reported by various systems, team members and/or users

· Create, verify, and restore various system backups

· Monitor systems daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns

· Manage the configuration and operation of Windows/ Mac OS images in Intune and JAMF

· Assign and maintain user logins, access privileges, and email accounts

· Provide level 3 technical support for both hardware and software issues

· Respond to and resolve escalated help desk requests

· Keep both the LAN (Local Area Networks) and WAN networks operational and functioning at optimal levels

· Assists in maintaining, testing and inventory of IT software and equipment

· Identify gaps in our current environment and recommend changes or enhancements as needed to improve efficiency through automation and scalability

· Work with other teams to drive new projects ensuring that security best practices and standards are maintained

· Participate in Limeade’s Security Incident Response Program as needed

· Assist with patching and vulnerability management program and remediation efforts as it pertains to server infrastructure and endpoints

· Support company-wide initiatives for HIPAA, SOC 2, GDPR, and related regulatory compliance requirements

 

Requirements:

· Ability to demonstrate our values in an on-going and consistent way

· 4 years’ experience in system administration

· 2 years’ experience in Azure or AWS management.

· Bachelor's degree in related fields or relevant professional certification, such as Security , Network , MTA MCSA, MCSE, Azure Administrator, are a plus

· High-level knowledge of a hybrid Microsoft Active Directory / Azure Active Directory and Group Policy Management.

· Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure services

· Ability to install Windows and MacOS desktop operating systems

· Proficient with Deployment Tools such as JAMF, Intune, Windows AutoPilot, ManageEngine and deploying client/server images.

· Knowledge of patching, system vulnerabilities, endpoint protection, and security threats

· Basic understanding of project management goals and practices

· Ability to participate in on call rotation and work flexible hours as needed for limited project work

· Excellent communication, documentation, and people skills

· Ability to handle confidential material in a responsible manner

· Must be proficient in PowerShell scripting with some experience with Bash or Python
