Methuen Construction is hiring Project Engineers to join our team this spring and summer! Our Project Engineers support, maintain and facilitate the profitability and schedules of projects under construction and jobs to bid, and provide assistance to the Superintendents and Project Managers by contributing to the successful execution of the project.

Your Role

• Shop drawing review
• Resolve design conflicts with AE/Owner
• Develop submittal and change orders
• Solicitation and evaluation of prices from vendors and distributors
• Purchase permanent project materials
• Control document distribution
• Log PO's, subcontracts, insurance certificates and correspondence
• Track fabrication and delivery of product and equipment
• Keep accurate notes, records, sketches, daily reports, and field books to describe and verify planned work as well as completed work to be incorporated into the project's record documents

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day, with occasional out of state and overnight travel. Less than 20% travel expected

Your Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related degree
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Prompt and accurate judgment abilities
• Excellent time management skills
• Skill in the use of Windows based personal computers in application of Microsoft Office Suite
• Personal commitment to team environment, safety, customer satisfaction and quality control
