Job Description Job Title: Investment Analyst Reports to: Investment Manager FLSA Status: Full Time Aligned Executive: VP and CFO Kipuka: Liliuonamoku Department: Investments Job PurposeThe Investment Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously improving performance analysis and various financial models to evaluate new and existing Real Estate and Investment assets. This position reports to the Investment Manager, however, the Analyst will also work with the Executive and Real Estate teams. Essential Responsibilities On real estate matters:Develops and maintains performance models and reporting across multiple real estate portfolios.Regularly monitors portfolios’ performance and risk profiles supported by advanced analytics on reputable and confirmed data.Develops and runs scenario and stress testing of the models which are used to manage capital requirements and improve the profitability of assets.Conducts primary and secondary research of the market and asset specific data for use in transaction due diligence, asset valuation, and pro forma base assumptions as needed.In addition to regular quarterly and annual reporting, provides ad hoc reports to Executive Team and Trustees. On investment matters:Design, produce, and maintain analytical reports on an ad hoc and regular basis to include reporting on investment performance, return attribution, asset allocation, and portfolio risk characteristics.Utilizes software and maintains databases that facilitate portfolio monitoring, portfolio construction, and analysis of existing and potential investments.Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis to facilitate the monitoring of investment exposures and performance.Assist in analyzing potential investment managers and strategies. Participate in building general investment expertise, read industry and consultant research. QualificationsBachelor’s degree and at least two years of investment banking, finance, real estate investing and/or investment management experience required.Prior experience in real estate finance preferred, to include familiarity with standard underwriting models and criteria.Demonstrated ability to execute detailed financial analysis, communicate effectively within and outside of the organization, work well in a team setting and possess strong writing skills.Advanced Excel capabilities, proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.Ability to synthesize large quantities of information.
