WHO WE ARE: Lake Placid Health and Rehabilitation - a 180 bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in Lake Placid, Florida is currently seeking a Maintenance Director. We are a growing facility in need of an energetic and talented new professional to come join our team.

As the Maintenance Director within a Skilled Nursing Facility you will ensure that all necessary equipment and utilities are in good working order, and that the facility grounds are properly maintained in accordance with state and federal regulations. Maintenance Director Job Summary & Qualifications:

• Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives 
• Supervise the overall maintenance operation of facility. 
• Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment and supplies. 
• Order and requisition supplies and equipment, as needed, within budgetary guidelines.
• Know and follow established safety rules and procedures of the maintenance department. 
• Keep required records and submit to the Administrator when required.
• Maintain the building and keep free of hazards such as those caused by electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling systems.
• Minimum of three (3) years related experience.
• One (1) to two (2) years management/supervisory experience required.
• Practical knowledge of day-to-day maintenance and facility physical plant upkeep.
• Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment 

Salaried, Monday through Friday work schedule.
