WHO WE ARE: Arbor Springs - 120 bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in Ocala, FL is currently seeking a DON. We are a growing facility in need of an energetic and talented new clinical professional to come join our team!

As the Director of Nursing (DON) you will be responsible for the organizing, developing, and directing of all operations within the Skilled Nursing Facility. To be most successful in the role of DON, you will have great conflict resolution skills, with the ability to display unlimited patience and a positive demeanor with every interaction. Director of Nursing (DON) Summary & Qualifications:

• Interprets and communicates policies and procedures to nursing staff
• Monitors staff practices and implementation.
• Participates in admission decisions.
• Participates in daily or weekly management team meetings 
• Ensures delivery of quality care and adequate staff coverage on all units
• Maintains general cleanliness, and maintains optimal resident functions.
• Participates in the recruitment, hiring and termination of nursing personnel.
• Active RN License Required
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an ADON or RN Supervisor in a hospital, SNF, or LTAC
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices pertaining to LTC
• CPR Certification Required
