Description
Tasks Required of an Underground Telecommunications Construction Contractor:
· Know how to place Poly, Stick Duct, Pedestals, Vaults & Hand holes for FTTH
· Know how to place CIC, Poly, Pedestals, Vaults for BAU
· Know how to pull fiber & Coax
· Able to read Prints, Strong communication skills required between Construction Supervisor so that problems can be addressed as soon as possible.
· Proper as builts & record keeping
· Knowledge, understanding and practice of safety regulations within OSHA, NESC, and NEC, DOT and other construction related guidelines.
Requirements
Requirements to become an Underground Telecommunications Construction Contractor:
· Have the proper Vehicles to safely transport your equipment
· Have Directional Rig, Missiles & Compressors, or Trenchers for your expertise
· Own Proper Cable Trailers
· Must Have all necessary Safety equipment and Signage
· Must have proper insurances per our insurance specifications
