We’re looking for a Network Administrator to join our team in Sydney. With proven experience in IT and technologies/platforms relating to networking, you will play a key role in a modern, ever growing environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the high availability of Lightspeed's global corporate networks, making sure they are maintained and secured to industry standards. In this role, you will provide technical system expertise to all network service related requests/incidents and work to efficiently deliver appropriate solutions. 

What you’ll be doing:

• Design and implement our corporate network infrastructure including routing, switching, wireless, security and monitoring
• Participate in daily operations and maintenance of our corporate networks including decommissioning of sites when applicable
• Be responsible for keeping technical data up to date (architecture, integration diagrams and documentation)
• Participate in the identification, development and implementation of industry standards and security best practices
• Develop & maintain the corporate network disaster recovery plan and failover efforts
• Proactively monitor network performance. Create standard operating procedures & escalation processes for alarms & security events relating to Network Services
• Conduct analyses of complex system behaviour & performance issues and participate in vendor evaluation/lab testing of new technologies

Please note that you will take part in our on-call rotation for P1 incidents.

What you need to bring:

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

• Demonstrable experience in building scalable, highly available, global network infrastructures
• Previous experience with Fortinet network hardware (Fortinet Certified NSE 4 minimum)
• Extensive design experience in the following technologies: OSPF, BGP, MPLS, EIGRP, Port Security, VLAN/trunking, QoS
• Extensive RF experience in Wireless 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax and experience in 802.1x NAC deployment and administration
• Proven diagnostic problem solving and solution development capabilities
