Lighthouse Behavioral Health Solutions (Lighthouse) is seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist to support our growing company.

Lighthouse provides individual, outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, residential, psychiatric services, and medication assisted treatment for mental health and substance abuse treatment needs.

Our programs and services are dedicated to adults struggling to cope with alcohol and/or drug addiction and mental health challenges brought about by difficult life experiences on an outpatient basis.

  • The Senior HR Generalist enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
  • The Senior HR Generalist oversees the response to conflict resolutions including employee grievances, workplace conflict, and disciplinary action.
  • The Senior HR Generalist is responsible for employee engagement initiatives including DE&I, engagement survey, exit interviews, stay interviews and engagement activities.
  • The Senior HR Generalist ensures compliance within the HR department and works collaboratively with the compliance department to train and implement compliance practices throughout the organization.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures that human resources activities comply with LBHS policies and procedures.
  • Collects and responds to employee grievances. Opens and completes investigations when appropriate and provides guidance on appropriate responses.
  • Mediates difficult conversations with employees and coaches leaders on how to handle performance issues and follow policies and procedures.
  • Evaluates policies and procedures and makes recommendations for changes based on the organizations needs, trends within the culture, and changes within employment laws.
  • Reviews disciplinary action forms prior to it being administered and coaches leaders on completing documentation in a way that is consistent with employment law and our policies and procedures. Acts as a witness during final written warnings and terminations as appropriate.
  • Responsible for the creation and implementation of the DE&I plan to include forming the committee and facilitating the meetings. Collects necessary data and information to inform executive leadership and make recommendations.
  • Responsible for overseeing the bi-annual employee engagement survey and collecting data to inform executive leadership and make recommendations. Responsible for scheduling and facilitating engagement committee meetings and holding individuals accountable to providing outcomes.
  • Responsible for conducting exit and stay interviews and collecting the data to inform executive leadership and make recommendations based on trends.
  • Works collaboratively with the Compliance department to ensure that the HR department is functioning in a way that is compliant with all local and federal laws as well as best practices to protect the company and employees.
  • Works collaboratively with Training & Development to ensure employees and leaders receive appropriate training on policies and procedures, compliance, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Conducts themselves at a high standard of professionalism and abides by the LBHS Code of Conduct of Ethical Behavior.
