Lighthouse Behavioral Health Solutions (LBHS) provides individual, outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, residential, psychiatric services, and medication assisted treatment for mental health and substance abuse treatment needs. Position: Intake Coordinator

Job Summary: Assisting individuals recovering from addiction or mental health challenges by supporting the comprehensive intake assessment process. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Guiding clients from the initial call through the entire admissions process working interdepartmentally to ensure a seamless transition into the Lighthouse program.
• Stays apprised of our program and can discuss the details in depth with potential and incoming clients.
• Coordinates admissions for multiple levels of care for behavioral health clients with a focus on SUD and MH.

• Greets incoming clients and provides them with an overview of what they can expect, provides them with any mandatory paperwork, and alerts staff of their arrival. 
• Coordinates transportation for incoming clients and relays the information accurately to staff providing client transportation.
• Maintains and manages the waitlist as required by the State of Ohio and communicates waitlist information to potential clients. 
• Stays apprised of the census and updates information according to procedure.
• Communicates with and maintains positive relationships with referral sources. 

Required Experience/Abilities:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid State of Ohio Driver's License and car insurance
• Must pass BCI check, all Corporate Compliance checks, and employment drug screen

Desired Experience/Abilities:

• Valid CDCA license 
• Previous experience in a substance abuse treatment setting
