Lifetime Quality Roofing is looking for an ambitious Accounts Payable Specialist who will report directly to theController. This role will be primarily assisting with maintaining all facets of accounts payable,inclusive of general ledger accounts, and business transactions of the organization while applying theGenerally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This role will be responsible for managingmultiple company's accounts payable and will need to be able to transition back and forth betweencompanies throughout the day.

Responsibilities: Process large quantities of invoices monthly, and check requests, ensuring proper approval
and coding are retrieved
 Resolve invoice discrepancies
 Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms
 Respond to all vendor inquiries
 Reconcile vendor statements, research, correct discrepancies, and request refunds from
vendors for any outstanding credits
 Assist in month-end closing
 Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company
policy and generally accepted accounting principles
 Understanding of sales use tax and how to accrue tax on invoices
 Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed
Qualifications: 3 - 5 years of accounts payable experience and general accounting experience
 Strong understanding of accounts payable and general accounting procedures
 Experience with QuickBooks required
 Experience with intercompany billing is a plus not required
 Proficient in data entry
 Good communication skills
 Ability to organize and prioritize
 Attention to detail and accuracy
 Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management
 Ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines
 Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Gmail
