Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients, managing the front desk operations, and ensuring the smooth flow of the medical office. Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Verify patient information and update records in the electronic medical system
- Manage patient check-in and check-out process
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with the medical team to provide exceptional patient service
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar role
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with phone systems and basic office equipment
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy
