Title: Accounting Specialist
Worksite: Corporate

Hours Status: Full-time
Pay Range: $14.00 hourly
Brief Job Description:
Under general supervision of the Controller, the Accounting Specialist is responsible for processing purchase requisitions with the supporting documentation into the accounts payable module in the accounting system. The Accounting Specialist is also responsible for voiding checks, processing travel advances, printing checks, and maintaining our AP and accounting records and providing them to management when requested. Accounting Specialist will code or enter cash receipts daily as well as enter journal entries into the general ledger. Accounting Specialist will also have some responsibilities related to the monthly invoicing of some program bills, client billing and posting payments received for billing.
Qualifications:
Position requires high school diploma or equivalent. Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask is required.
