LIFESCAN LABS OF ILLINOIS LLC is Hiring a Senior Project Manager Near Skokie, IL

Description

Lifescan Labs of Illinois is located in Skokie, IL has been a leader in providing reliable laboratory services for Northern Illinois for over 20 years. We are a laboratory specializing in medical diagnostic testing for physicians, long-term care facilities, and At-Home Care. Lifescan Labs of Illinois, LLC is looking for a Project Manager that will serve an integral role in our Business Technology Department.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead in pre-project scoping, status tracking, and post-project assessments.
  • Collaborate with each department to determine appropriate solutions to enhance departmental processing and efficiency. 
  • Understand and guide the strategic objectives technology-based solutions.
  • Gather and maintain thorough operational knowledge of the business and of impacts on various departments. 
  • Flow chart operational processes mapping current protocols and potential improvements.
  • Understand how current or potential technology solutions can assist or hinder each department.
  • Collaborates with Revenue Cycle team to increase cash velocity, improve DSO, and review trends to improve processes.
  • Collect, analyze, and use data and human feedback to identify opportunities where technology can improve either process or quality outcomes.
  • Partners with account managers support and facilitate client relationships and data management.
  • Promptly respond to incidents and other events as necessary. 

Requirements

Successful candidates will have: 

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D required, plus two years of project management experience.
  • Advanced-level data analytics experience creating, analyzing, and presenting reporting.
  • Initiative in finding areas of opportunity and envisioning potential improvement.
  • Ability to present ideas and communicate information in a user-friendly language and manner. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Experience with general healthcare technologies; i.e. HL7, 270/271, EDI. 
  • The ability to create beneficial business relationships. 
  • Capability to negotiate with and influence stakeholders.
  • Flexibility in adapting to dynamic priorities, initiatives, and communication of updates.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure, rapidly evolving environment. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior Lab Operations experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma/Kaizen experience

Schedule:

Full Time: Monday – Friday, weekends if needed.
