How you will contribute to LifeNet Health’s success:

The Business Intelligence Analyst evaluates, designs, develops, and analyzes reports for business operations using Power BI, Excel and other software. Manages data gathering, queries, and report writing for various projects and process improvements and performs data analysis. This position automates data quality through real-time feedback to staff. Interprets results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining. Designs, develops, implements, and maintains business solutions. Works directly with leadership and business leaders to identify analytical requirements. Responsible for industry reporting requirements. This role consults with leadership and staff to improve data quality and analysis in the pursuit of performance excellence.

What you’ll do:

• Data analytics: Proactively analyzes data to answer questions from key stakeholders. Works directly with management and users to gather requirements. Understands what drives business performance and identify critical metrics & KPIs to deliver actionable items to key decision makers
• Data governance: Develops and maintains databases by acquiring data from primary and secondary resources. Manages master data, including creation, updates, and deletion. Processes confidential data and information according to industry guidelines.
• Reporting: Manages and designs the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata. Creates best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization.
• Predictive analytics: Identifies trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex data sets.

What you’ll bring (Minimum Requirements):

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or Business Analytics, Finance, Information Science or Technology

Preferred Experience:

• (Master’s Degree in Business/Data Analytics, Data Science, or Decision Analytics, preferred)
• Project Management Certificate (PMP), preferred
• 3 years data analytics or statistical analysis experience, preferred
• 1 year experience in healthcare, OPO, or tissue banking industry, preferred

These would be nice too (Knowledge Skills and Abilities):

• Computer: Proficient in MS Office; advanced skills in Excel and other data analysis software
• Data Reporting & Analysis: Statistical analysis of complex data sets
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate and build relationships at different levels within the organization
• Time Management: Able to prioritize multiple, time-sensitive competing priorities and manage time/workload; able to identify project interdependencies and potential risks
• Attention to Detail: Able to perform tasks thoroughly and with care; checks work to ensure high degree of accuracy/completeness
• Power BI: Development and reporting experience, preferred
• Healthcare: Use of electronic medical records and databases, preferred
