LIFE International is seeking a Director of Communications to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide oversight to all external organizational communications to tell the story of how God is working through LIFE International to ensure clarity impact in messaging, and to facilitate consistency with organizational brand standards. This individual will also work in collaboration with ministry directors to meet the scheduled communications timelines with accuracy and quality consistent with the organization’s standards.Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with the President and leadership team to develop and coordinate organization’s external messaging, multi-channel strategies, plans and timelines.
  • Collaborate with directors to strategize the timely execution of individual departments’ communication demands.
  • Provide oversight in all aspects of communications; creative design, copywriting, editing, graphic design, print layout, video content, and training resources.
  • Copywrite as needed including direct mail, web stories, journalistic, case statements, reports, training materials, grant requests, and others.
  • Write creatively with clear biblical foundations to include a broad, holistic message of the sacredness of human life when appropriate while withholding political agendas.
  • Work with contract service providers to develop and execute integrated digital footprint, search engine marketing, advertising, tradeshows, and other campaigns to generate exposure and leads.
  • Develop and manage the communications budget.
  • Oversight and management of all communications projects as requested by directors.
  • Research and select subcontractors for select communications projects.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and guidance for contractors as needed.
  • Assist in creating content to be used in presentations by president, directors, board members, and ministry advocates.

Opportunity for international ministry travel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
