LID Landscapes is Hiring a Landscape Designer Near Longmont, CO

L.I.D. Landscapes, an award-winning company serving the Boulder Valley, seeks a full time or part time Landscape Designer to support the Senior Designer and Sales team. This position has the opportunity to assist with design, estimating, and managing a variety of high quality landscape projects. L.I.D. Landscapes, is a leader in the industry, providing landscape and irrigation services to customers in the Boulder Valley area since 1980. We are seeking a highly motivated, organized individual to join a fast-paced office. 
Landscape Designer Job Summary
Responsibilities of the position include support for the Senior Project Director in the following capacities: 
  • Develop landscape design solutions from small residential to full scale large residential projects
  • Prepare budgets, estimates and proposals. 
  • Assist with coordination and supervision of construction crews, including subcontractors.
  • Perform client communications and customer service throughout the project. 
  • Create prints as required for client presentations.
  • Work diligently to meet deadlines and client expectations.
 
Landscape Designer Job Skills
Essential competencies and characteristics:
  • Creative, residential landscape design ability.
  • Strong plant knowledge
  • Computer based design and graphic presentation skills
  • Landscape construction knowledge for all landscape services and elements.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect with people and successfully satisfy the needs of discriminating clients.
  • Ability to work and learn in a fast-paced team environment while managing multiple client and project requirements. 
 
Landscape Designer Requirements
  • Horticulture, Landscape Design, or Landscape Architecture degree.
  • 5 years experience in landscape design, sales and construction
  • CAD, Lumion and Microsoft Office, Excel and Word computer application experience.
  • Desirable experiences include: photography and graphic skills. Must have valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to our insurance company.
