Our Agency delivers services to the Licking County community in the areas of public assistance, workforce development and protective services. Customer Service Specialists serve as initial points of contact for our community. This is an excellent opportunity to come grow with us!
This entry-level position is part of our customer service unit, representing the Agency through services such as front desk reception, mail services, telephone reception, resource room, and other customer service facets. All customer service positions work together to ensure quality services are provided to individuals and families in need. Customer service team members will utilize specialized computer programs, as well as traditional programs such as Word, Excel and email.
Duties of this position includes but are not limited to assisting customers in our reception area by processing documents and answering questions about Agency services and benefits; receiving and processing mail; serving customers in our community resource room; greeting and assisting customers both face-to-face and by phone; processing public assistance case alerts, and directing customers to Agency and community programs and resources.

A successful customer service team member will possess an Associate Degree, plus one (1) year in customer service with the public.
